Hostel and folk high school

Hostel in the summer, folk high school in the winter.

Molde Vanderhjem is run by Molde Folkehøgskole. The folkehøgskole year lasts from mid-August to mid-May, while every summer the folkehøgskole is transformed into a cozy hostel.

Molde Folkehøgskole has had a student population of 125 students in recent years. These students live and eat at the school. The rooms in the hostel are therefore adapted to this use. In double rooms there are two single beds, there is no TV in the rooms and the rooms are simply equipped so that there is space for the students' own things.

Molde Folk High School offers courses in sports and outdoor activities. We therefore have good expertise in hiking opportunities both in Molde municipality and our neighboring municipalities. We are happy to share this information with our hostel guests.

We also have a fitness center that is free for our guests to use.
